right. Latter is a conversation worth having, even if I have a stance on it that probably a lot of folks might disagree with. Understanding why is an interesting exercise in itself my original point was really just a strategy question. I just don’t think it’s a smart move.
i would be more inclined to agree with you were we talking about the nyt story right now rather than the nyt.
There's also the aspect that if the company responded after the article was published, there would be a similar degree of Streisand Effect, plus the NYT article already framed the story. So if you're CB, your decision is whether you want someone else to frame the story.
