Worse still, what happens if you scale CA's political ideologies to the rest of the country, which seems to be the goal? I'd wager if that's allowed to happen, future conversations won't be around CA's tax base, but whether ~23.8% is a fair exit tax to renounce US citizenship

That’s all true. Been about this for 15 years since socal political consulting days. But I’d want to see a real resistance backed by people with resources of talent, $, and power. The task is enormous with worthless R party and no organizational infrastructure.

So it will take talented people putting skin in the game and going to war against a corrupt cartel. No way around that. But if there was ever a time before the collapse I grant it is now as resistance energy builds in the people remaining and willing to act.
