Tech can have nothing to do with housing and fentanyl and still not add to culture. I'm highlighting differences in values. As a Tech CEO, I don't think you're wrong ;), but if you don't see why the "other side" behaves the way they do, it will be hard to find a win-win.

Maybe publicly stated intentions are actually *wink wink* not the real intentions? SF isn’t alone here, other major US are at risk of losing the top 50-75% of their tax base. Which, maybe is the intention? Degentrification means rents collapse, but so does the city budget.
