This was ~available months ago in Aus. Had a cold a few months ago. 5min from my place in the burbs there was a drive through clinic. Went 11am. Results by 3. All free Aus only 20min people and mainly cities. But why at min isnt that the case across a range of places in the US?

Maybe. But bureaucrats vastly outnumber political appointees, and there are few mechanisms to force them to comply with policy of the appointees who supposedly run the agency, so it’s not clear anyone could substantially change practice of FDA
