Call me crazy but if you're a gym after 10pm it's probably likely to much more quiet, and therefore much safer.

Well at least they’re doing the sane thing and keeping bars open during the day while making sure kids don’t learn to read. Might get some not so sciencey ideas otherwise!

It’s just about reducing hours of possible spread, you’re being disingenuous. In Chicago, they’ve done this for a while and it works well. The later it gets the more drunk people are and the less they follow guidelines. It def helps limit people my age from “going out”
