Shifting to sustainable energy sources is more relevant to the well being of our species than reducing electricity bills in a famously high COL area filled with people who appear willing and able to pay a premium. I suppose that the markets will decide.

They've done the same thing in Brookline, a small city just outside Boston with a median income approximately the same as San Francisco. Something strange seems to happen to many people that achieve a certain level of success.
