you can click the label to see citations. it's a bit messy in the current iteration because it's a whole article list rather than a specific response to a specific tweet, but that seems hard to do at scale.
i looked for that specifically, and didn’t find it, which precipitated the tweet. clicking through here only brings me to vague boilerplate. haven’t checked all of his tweets though.pic.twitter.com/1NtqpCbDf4

so what's *supposed* to happen is the smaller "learn more" labels are supposed to link to curated Moments that talk about the subject of the tweet. it's possible that tweet doesn't have a Moment yet?

generally, yes, these decisions should be transparent and incredibly easy for viewers to piece together what happened. that was the root of the Post mess! but certainly something we're paying close attention to over here in the 4th estate.
