If the Dems already feel that is happened why wouldn’t they? Could pull the door shut by requiring 60% senate vote in the future and get GOP to vote for it by threatening further packing the court and ramming through anti suppression and gerrymandering laws until they cave
not all democrats are this insane, first of all, but the GOP didn't fundamentally alter the structure of our federal court bc they didn't get their way in a spat. people can *feel* that way, but they are wrong. packing the courts is wrong. i recommend winning elections.

A bit dramatic. The idea is adding justices, not removing the branch. The justices still have to hear cases and make rulings. I seem to recall “it’s legal, and we have the votes,” being a good enough argument yesterday for something else.

yes, the argument employed yesterday is what we heard, from democrats, on behalf of garland. packing the court is not that. it’s a horrifying abuse of power, i’ll vote against anyone who even so much as tweets in favor of it, and that’s forever.
