i simply do not understand why so many facebook employees heading comms on the censorship issue have their partisan political backgrounds in their twitter bio???

Its because congressional and campaign staffers move into the private tech sector after they lose where they have more freedom to enact their politics because "private companies." And they are unabashed about it and delight in flaunting it.
