i simply do not understand why so many facebook employees heading comms on the censorship issue have their partisan political backgrounds in their twitter bio???

in some ways i guess this is comforting. presumably no one truly committed to political censorship would be so open about it... ???

Because politics has wormed its way into every tiny crack of our lives. The media, Big Tech, schools and now even the FBI, CIA and other ostensibly apolitical professions have been politicized. So many institutions have abandoned professionalism for ideology.
