Because politics has wormed its way into every tiny crack of our lives. The media, Big Tech, schools and now even the FBI, CIA and other ostensibly apolitical professions have been politicized. So many institutions have abandoned professionalism for ideology.

At this point, if Trump wins, he shouldn't faff about with anti-trust lawsuits (likely to be lost in front of judges he himself appointed) but simply tax Big Tech and Big Media to their destruction. Several hundred times their revenue.
