        What data tell you people are moving here to be homeless? The data I’ve seen suggest this is probably not the case, though it’s a very common belief wherever there are homeless people, which is itself fascinating to me.         very strange how in the middle of a deadly respiratory pandemic, individual tents might be better policy than indoor congregate shelter involving dozens or hundreds of mats within the same room with limited air circulation.

        very strange how i live in the haight, where the homeless population has at least doubled, a block away from a tent encampment filled with drug addicts who don’t distance or wear masks, while you live in the east bay and have no clue what you’re talking about
