@Caltrain goes under, it will be exponentially more expensive to resuscitate it and it does better than ~70% of revenue from fares. As opposed to@sfmta_muni, at ~20%. It’s also not wholly managed by@sfgov so that’s a plus. My 2c FWIW. -
That's not a given. If the pre tech monster Caltrain is subsidized, it will stay cramped, sparse, loud, stinking and expensive. If it folds, we can ask SV to compete for a replacement.
