no, i want to abolish prop 13 so nancy pelosi starts paying as much in property taxes as a new homeowner. this moves us in that direction.

So, it’s a tax increase on property owners, even including Nancy Pelosi.

Prop 15 would only affect commercial property owned by Nancy Pelosi, not any personal property that she owns.

While abolishing prop 13 would affect Pelosi, it would also affect millions of other middle class homeowners in the state. Rather than upend prop 13, maybe a smarter move would be to focus on term limits for Senators and getting rid of their pensions & lifetime health benefits.

Good. They’ve been getting a highly subsidized deal at the expense of newer residents for decades. I’d give prop 13 elimination a gradual phase in over a few years, but if you can’t afford fair taxes on your property, maybe the gov shouldn’t be subsidizing your life.
