the point of mine i believe you’re referring to: obsession with “scientific consensus” itself undermines the concept of science. p.s. pointing to an authority like nature magazine to prove a “scientists say” point is exactly the problem.

The ultimate end point of the scientific method is reaching a point of reproducibility such that one can reasonably assume the underlying mechanics of the experiment represent universal truths.
