wild to see tech journalists openly endorsing regional, anti-tech legislative positions like “no on 22,” which will effectively eradicate ride sharing in california. is this not some kind of ethical violation?

There is no "ride sharing". Most Uber/Lyft drivers work full time so they deserve benefits like..you know basic healthcare.
most drivers are not full time. you should familiarize yourself with these issues before you vote on them.

Kal you are right. 10% of the drivers (like@me) work more than 40 hours a week and carry more than 80% of all passengers. the other 90% of drivers carry the other 20% passengers. source: me driving@more than 5 years
