wild to see tech journalists openly endorsing regional, anti-tech legislative positions like “no on 22,” which will effectively eradicate ride sharing in california. is this not some kind of ethical violation?

I feel conflicted on 22. Voting yes is clearly the correct position for all involved. But I also want to see what happens if it doesn't pass and if Californians will stop electing the people that created the issue to begin with.

Republicans have too much baggage from the neocon/Christian Coalition days to ever provide Cali voters with an alternative to voting for these awful policies that doesn’t result in them becoming pariahs and effectively being exiled from their peer groups.
