  I practice employment law in CA mostly on the plaintiff side and AB5 went way too far. Most lawyers admit it was a pretext to increase employment taxes and to encourage unionization. If they stuck to the original Borello standards it would make it more fair.

  Love that I now have a sufficient number of Substacks from the VC + Equity Analyst community that I no longer have to read "tech reporter" editorials. Even unsubbed from The Information because their takes (aside from Sam Lessin's) are so poorly researched
