I don't think that she understands that the Scientific Method is based on the premise of trying to continuously disprove what you think you discovered. Science is the opposite of being written into stone.

Yes, it functions on Baye's theorem. Each new evidence changes the prior non-absolute probability little bit. Even Scientific laws are predictions with very high probability to be true in future, but even they are not Certain. That's why we still continuously examine them.
