Question: is there any evidence journalists are actually doing this? I follow the typical “left-leaning” sources: NYT, The Atlantic, etc and I’ve heard plenty about the Uighur genocide

i'm referring to the way tech journalists are covering tiktok. agree plenty of journalists have done great work covering the uighur genocide, and i've been broadly impressed with, for example, the nyt's china team.

the tiktok thing has nothing to do with chinese human rights or even data security or the companies the administration was picking would be different. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
