Parents’ Nook have been working on this, most schools I think are treated as “ day cares” by working parents, so an alternative to schooling is a neighborhood based micro-community supporting parents with their needs and kids with open ended play options until 5-6 yrs of age.

There are already great educators there and lots of talents who are passionate about child development and it can be done in a much better way. In other words, my research and I would like to say that today’s schooling system is harming kids more rather than nurturing them.
