no one listens to spotify on their browser they listen on their desktop app why when a friend links me to a song do you open my browser rather than play the song on my app that is currently open it's 2020 HOW IS THIS STILL HAPPENING

super frustrating, though if you happen to have it shared to you in an app that will show a preview, like Slack, if you click the little Spotify logo in the top right corner, it will open it up in the desktop app. If you're sharing the song, select "Copy Spotify URI".
