no one listens to spotify on their browser they listen on their desktop app why when a friend links me to a song do you open my browser rather than play the song on my app that is currently open it's 2020 HOW IS THIS STILL HAPPENING

Hey come on! I listen on my browser. But yes it should definitely do that thing zoom does where the browser option shows to open on the app.

Sure but if they play it on your app and you're in the middle of listening to a playlist you're gonna have to go through the trouble of looking to get back to that playlist after you will have finished listening to your friend's song so perhaps this is why it is set to browser..?
