Bipartisan hatred for #AB5. I hate politics and this has spurred me to action. They have no idea how universally loved & reliant their constituents are on ridesharing. They are going to pay for this.
california is about to kill ride-sharing. presumably, the catastrophic job loss will be blamed on the fact that uber and lyft were allowed to exist in the first place. “we wouldn’t have lost these jobs,” @LorenaSGonzalez will argue, “had they never been created.”

What you are saying is that Uber and Lyft will be going from non viable businesses to even less viable businesses if they have to treat drivers as employees? Either way, those "jobs" eventually disappear.

Thanks for making us all a little more poor. The worst thing about this legislation is it's based on legislators literally lying and saying that independent contractors are not independent contractors. Bad for contractors, bad for people trying to live their lives.
