Most people have only been thinking selfishly throughout this whole ordeal. The economic cost of this thing is astounding and will be felt for years
with bars and barbershops closed the ‘stay home forever’ people mostly aren’t talking to barbers or bartenders, a self-perpetuating second-order effect of shutting down we don’t often think about. easier to laugh at haircuts when you don’t cut hair for a living.

People who don’t have to be physically present at their job because they have to do hands on work will NEVER understand this because they haven’t missed a single paycheck during this whole thing. And MOST of them are likely not self employed where you assume all risk.
