every competent entrepreneur in the country is watching california run uber and lyft out of the state, and working that into their mental model of what is possible here. we aren't just losing hundreds of thousands of jobs. the economic impact of AB-5 will be felt for decades.

too many californians who don't understand their own political ideas destroyed the state moving to texas for my comfort. i'm nervous for the lone star kids tbh.

Californians are going to "tolerance" the state of Texas into a shadow of the failed state of California. You're righy in that many here/fleeing are oblivious to the fact that they helped cause this disaster with a heaping serving of EQ, Tolerance, and Good Intentions.
