at least in the quasi urban place where I live, there wasn’t enough outdoor space to move all classes outside
here’s the thing: now that we know k through 7 or 8 education is really just daycare, there are less expensive, FAR more pleasant ways to do that. make it summer camp. kickball, movies, building forts and writing little plays. beads! laser tag! it’s ok, “school” can just be fun.pic.twitter.com/AGn3dh9UHj

In a world in which the bulk of adults supported Sudbury schooling, in which children were accepted and welcomed as individuals in civil society and free to make their own spaces, would Sudbury schools be useful to more than a few? I look forward to learning the answer one day!
