I would be very pissed off if I lost the ability to sell my company to someone else. Half the reason I'm doing what I'm doing now is so I can build an asset that someone else might want to buy some day.
is nadler's argument really companies aren't supposed to acquire other companies to make their own company stronger because i've got news for you about three hundred years of american industry

In the academic publishing world if they can't buy a competitor they'll frivolously sue and bankrupt them. I think acquisitions are better for smaller companies with less resources.
