i think the tweet is referring to naming the officers, not the families. people shouldnt be allowed to hide behind riot gear, faceless and nameless while they brutalize innocents. i don't think this is far fetched, insidious or complicated.

Cultural revolution ~ public shaming/humiliation for protecting stores and buildings from being burned down. Any officer committing legimitate brutality should be punished by our judicial system but I haven't seen anything close to the police violence displayed in HK protests.
