the US to an extent has racked up so much debt to pull forward future growth assuming it is certain when in reality the productivity growth of the 1970-2010 was an exception not the norm. capitalism & SV an isolated keeping us a float, we need to spread that model around the US

clearly obfuscates the point. more wealthy ppl in CA paying federal taxes, ergo we're a "net donor" for things like our giant military nobody wants but *everyone* has a stake in. we do not *all* have a stake in california's pension crisis. CA can pay for its own bad government.
