when people say “antifa is just anti-fascism, america was once antifa,” it’s important to remind them so was joseph stalin. it doesn’t matter what antifa stands against, it only matters what they stand for — and that’s by their own admission violent marxism.

Besides the whole thing is a shameless historical rewriting. Antifa was founded as Stalin's street thugs in Germany to fight against the parties of the Weimar Republic. What they called fascism included the SPD and social-democracy
