the case for mars is the best book on the subject. @robert_zubrin would likely have further recs, though. and make sure to check out AON season 2!

His latest book, The Case for Space, has a Mars section in it, which is updated with the latest technologies which would be my top recommendation Case for Mars is a good overview but a bit outdated nowadays, which feels great to say since space has stagnated for a while :)
