I encourage to think harder about what America is and represents. What is it that holds this nation together. On why it’s currency is demanded from Yemen to Russia and Venezuela. On why its language is the universal language of commerce. You may be surprised.

agree america is an idea, but it is also a place. a certain measure of immigration is healthy, but in conjunction with an increasingly-bloated social welfare state the calculus is not uncomplicated.
