It's an existential threat to a free society. It's not an existential threat in general though. China has a solution, but you aren't going to like it, nor do I. It's called The Great Firewall Of China. I hope there is a better solution than this.

Agree that social media amplifies our innate urges. And by design, makes it easy for nuance-free takes to travel the world at thought speed. I didn't see any solutions -- are you suggesting human beings should/will change or that social media needs to be changed?
