I know it’s become a tribal signal, I know it’s been said so many times it becomes wallpaper and boilerplate, but the quality of media in this country is an unsalvageable disaster and one of our biggest problems. It makes it almost impossible to deal with anything else.

This is important info, but we also need to raise our expectations from “least stupid”. You would know better, but this seems to be the entire thesis behind Founder’s Fund: America should be leading the world, not struggling to stay out of the “worst countries” list.
