after much consideration i have decided i do in fact believe certain kinds of speech (employed by people i disagree with only) should be regulated, and twitter fact checking should be normalized. i propose a system of one fact checker. i will be the fact checker.

How does that relate to putting a fact check in-line? Suppose they had a model where an algorithm picked the most credible reply to a Trump tweet, and displayed it below it. This would be clearly within their product charter. What's the material difference between that and this?
your assumption trump is wrong and a credible voice you agree with should therefore have some authority over his opinion or how it is presented stems from your political bias, a bias we all have, and is precisely why we should oppose such regulations
