That's the problem with almost all regulation—they favor big business. Small businesses don't have the money for expensive lawyers/accountants to get around all of these ridiculous regulations and pitfalls. It gets worse when you considered lobbying and shady deals.

my dad is an uber driver. invoking "human rights" violations on their behalf is degrading of the concept. it's a job that didn't even exist a few years ago, a majority like it, and over 70 percent want to remain contractors.

I wonder if people realized how many 'lost' mail-in ballots are used to pass propositions. People in California seem to look the other way for presidential and congressional elections if their party wins.
