I know this sounds like a meme but in my case playing online video games with good friends really helped. Haven't done this much online gaming since adolescence. Highly recommend.

i started doing that and it was definitely important, but not enough. started spending time in the park with friends on the weekend and that's just the way it's gotta be for me moving forward.

oh i’m fine now, switched up my routine and started seeing friends on the weekends. we spend most of our time at the park, though, which is why i get so angry when people try to fuck with our open spaces.

the conversation about life/economic trade offs drives me crazy— because it’s not productive — and seems like there’s still not space for this issue... mental health, addiction, isolation, preventative screening. i’m pro park and fwiw adopting a dog, my other coping mechanism

obsessed with the pro-dog position

This is something that’s interesting about the WFH conversation. Plenty making legitimate cases for it from a costs perspective, but for a staggering portion of the workforce their job *is* their socialization. Isolating employees = decreased happiness =\= cost savings.
