citing the cost of a home office as your key issue with remote work — bc *other people* can’t afford it — feels a little out of touch. i’m working from my bedroom on a desk i bought for 75 dollars at a flea market, and these days computers are mobile. i’m fine.

i think at scale problems that weren't initially apparent probably do appear. but yes, the larger problem here is we have a lot of people looking for a problem where none yet exists.
