citing the cost of a home office as your key issue with remote work — bc *other people* can’t afford it — feels a little out of touch. i’m working from my bedroom on a desk i bought for 75 dollars at a flea market, and these days computers are mobile. i’m fine.

There’s a benefit to having a work space that’s not in the home. That’s how it looks to me. Few will create a home office space and incur that cost, but WFH does take away the benefit of having a dedicated and clearly defined work space
