Isn't this the same criteria for a reopening? Asking people to risk their lives without a plan to keep them safe seems like it deserves as much scrutiny.
clearly communicated success metrics, a timeline for ubiquitous testing, and a target for reopening are the absolute minimum requirements of a lockdown extension. the expectation that we self-isolate through summer without a plan is absolute insanity.

When unemployment benefits are conditioned on lockdown status, returning to work is as involuntary as work being closed.
