I learned you turn on zoom recording and audio first and then start cleanfeed (and start a multitrack recording), then have both people clap in front of the camera with both Zoom and Cleanfeed audio, then mute zoom and start the interview. Makes audio sync easy.

Yeah I made some mistakes. Eg speaker mode on zoom will ruin the video since it uses audio to know who active speaker is. Zoom audio also sucks so you have to use cleanfeed. Then finally the clap is foolproof for sync. Eyeballing it is a nightmare.

ugh i can’t get out of monotrack recordings in zoom, which makes editing in audition about 10x more difficult
