This money is peanuts compared to having a coordinated and effective federal strategy on PPE, contact tracing, testing, etc. It’s fine but it’s tiny relative to what should be effectively deployed at the national level.

not really. he's only deployed $24mil of the $1 billion so far. and some of his donations don't even seem that related to coronavirus: donation to Freedom House: "Supporting survivors of persecution seeking asylum through temporary accommodation."
