Correction: Ambassador Cui didn’t make the statements himself but defended them when called by the State Department. Statements were made by Lin Songtian (China’s Ambassador to South Africa) and Lin Songtian (China's Foreign Ministry spokesman). Wasn’t targeting Americans.
that lives to kill people.i didn’t say it was the US ambassador, you did, and the comments were made on twitter in english, as have been most of the comments / posts from their state media channels. they’re absolutely targeting americans. insane to be having this conversation.

I think what is insane is the lack of testing here in the US. Americans are dying and we need more and better data about infections, R0, CFR, and the curve. But let’s misdirect and talk about China and make it less safe for Asian-Americans. To me, that’s insane.
