trump just admitted he's been calling this "the chinese virus" specifically in response to the increasingly-widespread chinese propaganda pushing the idea that the US military released COVID-19. important addition to this convo, imo.
from trump's comments, we are definitely about to see a ton of bailouts - airlines, hospitality, boeing. cash to citizens on the table. we're printing money, baby. none of the philosophical trepidation here we saw from bush in 08.
These press conferences have been great. the entire WH response team just riffing with reporters for an hour.

That is literally the first time I've seen that phrase. (Notice I don't even have to say what phrase, since it sticks out like a sore thumb.)
