Can anyone explain the theory where it's ok to go back to public schools / public gatherings in ~4-6 weeks? The virus won't be gone then, right? Even if its numbers diminish a lot, wouldn't it go back to its fast growth rate once we go back to normal?

it's not really an approach, imo, it's triage while we pray for a miracle from the medical community and then another in production

This is why the UK approach could be a catastrophe. We have no idea whether this thing works like flu (seasonal shots) or not.

Is there any real solution though? The virus will mutate. Even if we have the vaccine, can the economy last this long in the state of paralysis?
