Just FYI, this is fake news, and you should delete it now. Check the original source–the Norwegians were warning people that US *public transit infrastructure* may be subpar such that it would be difficult for Norwegians to get to the airport or get home.

I know, that's how fake news spreads: one outlet publishes, everyone else follows suit, and nobody posts retractions (or if they do, nobody reads the retraction notices!) Here's
@NTNUnorway's Facebook post (doesn't mention the US at all): https://www.facebook.com/NtnuInternational/photos/a.173660032777157/1938839732925836/?type=3&theater …1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
My understanding is that there have been two edits to their FB post: the first clarified that they meant that US public transit infrastructure was poorly developed (they weren't talking about healthcare infra), and the second edit removed all mention of the US.

yes, according the piece they edited the original post. where is the evidence this didn't happen?

When people post screenshots of the original, unedited Facebook post, that's a bit misleading. Posting a link to an article that mentions the edits is absolutely fine, but when the original FB post screenshot is featured, it's very misleading bc most won't read about the edits.

the edits are nice, but don't matter. the post was written and is now a story across social media. and the piece I referenced isn't, as you said, "fake news."
