so when rides are indefinitely shut down in their biggest markets what will they be worth? feels like an acquisition is coming, which is imo effectively the end of the company.

I think Uber will be OK. They have terrible unit economics, but they have very low fixed costs. Their high burn rate comes from (Subsidized Cost of Ride - True Cost of Ride) * N Rides. If they just cut the N of rides by 80%, they cut the bulk of their expenses. They’re elastic.
