Made one last grocery run for now. I live 1 subway stop from manhattan and the grocery store was nearly normal - I didn’t see anything that was 100% sold out. Bought $250 of groceries and everyone was looking at me like I’m a lunatic.
that’s surprising. sf has been insane. lines start the moment they open. no eggs, milk, packaged meats. bottled water and frozen food is almost gone. no vitamin c supplements, zinc.
Figures! I was at an unglamorous normie grocery a good walk afield of the Whole Foods so maybe that’s why. Bought eggs at $2 which is the cheapest I’ve ever seen in NYC
