Even in consumer it is readily apparent e.g. high end mountain bikes. Small manufacturers are able to deploy higher performance systems at much lower costs and with faster turnarounds, sort of the Plethora & Fictiv pitch. But also e-commerce and Youtube lower entry barrier.
