Lol. What people miss on socialized hc is if we move that direction we don't have a big, innovative, benevolent brother country to lean on for innovation. Access for broken bones would be fine. For the next wonder drugs, good luck. The profit motive is underrated.

It's a clear natural experiment. When this is all done and the stats are in, we can see how everyone's healthcare systems held up. I'd predict the US to be behind most of Western Europe, but we'll see

There's the added variable of Trump's ego. He's more concerned with disseminating misinformation about the virus to help the stock market than actual testing and treatment mobilization.
